Creating Opportunities for all Australians.

The 7th State is the biggest project in Australia’s history since Federation in 1901.

It is time to Put it to the People.

Separation is as attractive to Central and Northern Queensland today as it was in 1898.

A 7th State will grow our region and our great nation, creating opportunities for all Australians..

We need better representation.

At a state level, only 17 out of the 93 seats in the Queensland Parliament are above the Tropic of Capricorn and we have no Upper House. To make matters worse, our representation continues to diminish due to electoral boundary redistributions.

A 7th State is the solution.

Our region can take care of itself.

We have the ability to generate enough wealth and the knowledge to invest it where it is needed.

It is time to launch a National Campaign to inform and educate all Australians.

Our campaign will highlight and reinforce the benefits of living in a Federation and demonstrate how a 7th State will benefit the entire nation for generations to come.

We will build a groundswell of support that compels the Australian  Government to 'Put it to the People’.

BY DIVIDING THE STATE,

WE WILL GROW THE NATION.

Ready to be part of the 7th State movement?

We’re seeking your support to take the 7th State campaign to the next level. From community-minded individuals to businesses and organisations, we want to hear from you.

Your contribution will not only be an investment in our region for the benefit of our current generations.

Your contribution will be an investment in Australia’s future,  for the benefit of many, many generations to come.

We should make the decisions that affect us!

Our mining royalties should not be used to build southern freeways and stadiums while our roads remain unsafe and our healthcare suffers.

The 7th State Movement is not new.  The first motion for separation was considered in 1897 and no less than five related motions have been moved in the Queensland Parliament since Federation in 1901.

Every attempt to create a 7th State has been an effort to address the standard of infrastructure and level of services available in our region compared to South-East Queensland.

With leadership on our doorsteps and decisions made in our backyards, the people of our region will receive the equality they deserve.

With a new approach, we will create a 7th State.
